The Ecopark of Fuente Álamo promotes the treatment of urban waste through its classification, recycling and recovery.  

On the road to Balsapintada, turn into the industrial estate at the roundabout. Turn left at the next roundabout and keep going. It’s at the end of the road there. There are a few new units going up right by the Eco Parque. It’s open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 10:00 – 14:00, then Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 16:00 – 19:00.

It is located at the exit towards Murcia, next to the well-known Polígono de La Calendaria. (See location on map)
The neighbors and merchants of Fuente Álamo who so wish may deposit those materials and household waste that, due to their nature or composition, do not belong in the conventional garbage containers installed throughout the urban area of ​​Fuente Álamo . In this way, we will contribute to the sustainable development of the municipality, avoiding the mixing of organic waste with other polluting materials such as batteries, light bulbs or medicines.

This service is completely free  for citizens and includes the collection of the following WASTE:

• Vegetable oils.
• Electronic and computer devices, toner and ink cartridges …
• Home appliances.
• Furniture and wooden articles. Remains of pruning.
• Fluorescents, metals, scrap and glass.
• Remains of paint and solvents. Empty sprays.
• Batteries and batteries
• Paper, cardboard, plastic containers, bricks, cans and remnants of medicines.
